This was a special effects makeup design that was also the final for my advanced makeup class. I sculpted and painted the face and neck prostheic myself, and it was applied with help in the areas I could not reach. The costume was also designed and created by me, including the hoof shoes.

Original Character Design: Twil'ek
from the Star Wars Universe
So far i have created 2 versions of this character, the first one for San Diego Comic Con 2012 and the second for Wondercon 2014. The makeup is airbrushed on and takes 2-3 hours to get an even coat. I was inspired to make these costumes based on the Twil'ek dancers from the Star Wars Original Trilogy, but I aimed to make my character more conservative and colorful.
